City of Kyle
The City of Kyle is a hidden gem in Hays County. Founded in 1880, Kyle was a farming community for many decades. Today, it’s a thriving city in the heart of Central Texas. We’re also known as the Pie Capital of Texas, which is a delicious honor!
We love and embrace ALL pies, including Pi, here in Kyle. Kyle-ites celebrate National Pie Day, National Pi Day, and we host the annual Kyle Pie in the Sky Hot Air Balloon Festival each Labor Day weekend. We’re also a proud member of the American Pie Council.
Kyle earned the moniker “Pie Capital of Texas” in 2018 from the U.S. Patent and Trade Office.
