Right next door to everything... Duncanville offers a number of venues for avid recreation, sport or fitness enthusiast including an outdoor swimming pool, and indoor Olympic-size swimming pool, walking and jogging trails, a sand volleyball court, and numerous tennis courts.

The small 12 square mile community offers over 215 acres of park land including the Best Park Playground in the Metroplex by D Magazine - Kidville, a magical experience for children. Skate and hockey enthusiasts can enjoy the Duncanville Dr Pepper StarCenter double rink ice complex. Art, history, entertainment and culture are also easy to find in and around Duncanville in the Historical Park and through the Duncanville Community Theatre performances, and "Shakespeare under the Stars."

Annual events include Fourth of July Stars, Stripes and Sports Festival with a parade, concert and fireworks, Trout Fish-Out, evening Christmas Parade of Lights and Tree Lighting, and an eight week long Summer Concert Series.

Close by is the Dallas Nature Center with nearly 600 acres of native trees, wildflowers, scenic views and wildlife. Joe Pool Lake and Cedar Hill State Park, encompassing 30,000 acres of boating, fishing, mountain biking and walking trails are also near.

Conveniently situated along I-20 and US Hwy. 67, this recreational city is just minutes away from DFW International Airport, Love Field and Dallas Executive Airports, and includes outstanding hotel and motel accommodations.
