Cities to Visit: Farmers Branch, Texas
Conveniently located on Dallas' northern border, Farmers
Branch offers visitors a hometown with big-city convenience.
Located on the north side of IH-635 LBJ Freeway, west
of the Dallas Tollway, Farmers Branch is just 10-15
minutes from Dallas/ Fort Worth International Airport and
10-15 minutes from Love Field Airport and offers 12
major hotels and motels on IH-35 and IH-635.
The birthplace of Dallas County, Farmers Branch features a 22-acre Historical
Park that has structures that dates back to the 1800's-1900's.
Farmers Branch is also the newest location of the Dr Pepper
StarCenter, (12700 N. Stemmons Freeway). The new facility
encompasses 95,000 square feet, 11,000 of which is used as the City
conference center. The StarCenter includes
2 NHL-size sheets of ice, eight locker rooms, a StarStuff merchandise
store and the Grille restaurant. Four major shopping
malls are minutes away: Galleria, Grapevine Mills/Bass Pro Shop, Valley
View and Willow Bend.
