Banks/Currency Exchange
It is recommended that funds be converted into U.S. dollar travelers checks before leaving home. However, if currency exchange is necessary, DFW airport offers a 24 hour foreign exchange machine that handles 20 different currencies. DFW Airport Visitor Information provides airport information and directions; information on Metroplex area hotels/motels, attractions, museums, conventions / conferences, transportation. Call (972) 574-3694.

The Texas Travel Information Centers of the Texas Department of Transportation offers counseling in trip routing, attractions, lodging, literature and emergency road condition information. Call 1-800-452-9292 between 8am and 6pm CST, daily.

Climate
